The Centre for Women’s Global Health aims to improve access to sexual and reproductive healthcare for all women and girls. We operate with a Human Rights approach to development, working with local communities to deliver effective and sustainable solutions.
RCOG Fellows and Members are a global network spanning every continent. These individuals are leaders in the field of obstetrics and gynaecology, connecting them with local healthcare providers is one of the chief roles of the Centre. By establishing these partnerships, we’re able to build capacity and support improvements within women’s healthcare systems.
Delivering essential skills
Our strategy to advocate for and support improvements in women’s healthcare has three core focuses:
- Improve the quality and availability of sexual and reproductive health services
- Develop essential obstetric skills in practices across the world
- Expand an understanding and practice of respectful care.
To achieve these goals, the Centre for Women’s Global Health has developed several training modules.
