Maternity safety | Have your say

Maternity safety is a Presidential priority. The College plays an important role to support safe, high quality maternity care being delivered and to continually raise the standards of professional practice globally, which includes improving maternity safety.

You can view the maternity safety hub and our wellbeing hub to see all of the ways the College already supports our Members and Fellows to deliver safer care. We have also recently convened an Independent Advisory Group for Maternity Safety to support us.

As we progress, we want to ensure we are hearing from our membership directly to ensure that opportunities for system wide improvements are identified. We want to listen to your ideas and your concerns so that our future work can be built around these.

Over the next few months, we will be asking our membership a series of questions. Question two is now live and you can respond below.

What changes in policy or practice would you recommend to reduce the incidence of adverse events in maternity care?

If you would like to participate in this ongoing listening exercise, please complete the form below and we will notify you when the next question goes live, as well as providing regular updates on our maternity safety work.
