The Florence and William Blair Bell Research Fellowship is designed to stimulate and support innovative research in obstetrics and gynaecology.
Endowed in memory of Florence and William Blair Bell, this fellowship provides funding to early career postdoctoral researchers, enabling them to acquire additional clinical or research skills that ultimately enhance patient care and advance the specialty.

Eligibility
The research fellowship is available to RCOG Members or doctors in training in early career postdoctoral research who have completed their MD or PhD no more than twelve months prior to the date of their application.

Conditions
- Any travel planned as part of the Fellowship must take place within twelve months of the award being granted.
- The funding must be used only for the purpose outlined in your original application.
- A detailed report (maximum 1,000 words), including pictures if appropriate, must be submitted to the RCOG Awards at the end of the grant period.
- An undertaking must be given that the source of the grant will be acknowledged in any related publications.
