Lindsay Stewart Memorial Lecture

The RCOG, with the kind and generous support of the Lindsay Stewart Foundation, is able to award £1,000 and an annual lectureship to an eminent researcher in the UK focusing on quality improvement science in women’s health. The annual lecture will be delivered at the RCOG Annual Academic Event.

Mr Lindsay Stewart, OBE, FRCS Ed (Hon), FRCOG(Hon) had a life-long association with the RCOG. He was a firm believer in continuous quality improvement in health services. He provided funding for the establishment of Lindsay Stewart R&D Centre to promote quality improvement tools for advancing standards of care in women’s health.

Eligibility

The lectureship is awarded to the applicant who demonstrates the best original work related to quality improvement science in women’s health. Applicants must be clinicians or scientists within the UK.
