  • Consultant UK: Specialist GP, SAS/LE doctor
  • Consultant (Band A): Consultant practicing in a Band A country
  • Trainee: Specialist trainee, house officer, medical officer, foundation year doctor, PhD student, clinical fellow. To qualify for the trainee rate, you must either provide your NTN (if you’re a UK trainee) or upload a proof that you are a trainee at a recognised educational institution. You can upload this during your registration or after email it to the organisers at worldcongress@rcogevents.com after you’ve completed your registration. 
  • Low-resource country (Band B): Anyone practising in a Band B country listed here is eligible for the Band B low-resource country delegate rate. You are not eligible if you are originally from one of these countries but now practising elsewhere. In this case, you must select the economic country band applicable to where you are currently practising.
  • Low-resource country (Band C): Anyone practising in a Band C country listed here is eligible for the Band C low-resource country delegate rate. You are not eligible if you are originally from one of these countries but now practising elsewhere. In this case, you must select the economic country band applicable to where you are currently practising.
  • Midwife and allied health professional: an official document stating your position, signed by the head of department.
  • Medical student: To register as a student, a proof of eligibility (copy of student ID or an official letter from the university confirming that they are a student at the time of registration and for the duration of the congress) is required and can be uploaded during your registration or you can email it to the organisers at worldcongress@rcogevents.com after you’ve completed your registration. 
  • Press: To register as a media representative, please email pressoffice@rcog.org.uk and submit your official press card for accreditation approval. There is no registration fee for accredited media representatives.

The registration fee covers the scientific programme and authorised modest activities and hospitality. Any additional events containing aspects of entertainment are subject to a separate fee and will be held outside of the programme time/educational hours. 

Can I register a group of delegates? 

Group registration enables group co-ordinators to register, view and manage multiple registrations for this congress. It is designed for groups of over two delegates. Groups of less than two should register individually, using the main registration portal. 

Please ensure to have unique email addresses and mobile numbers for each attendee and contact the congress secretariat if you may need further assistance in processing the group registration. The deadline for group bookings is Friday 13 June 2025, midnight, UK time.

Cancellation and refunds 

  • All cancellations must be received in writing by the congress secretariat at worldcongress@rcogevents.com. It is the responsibility of the delegate to ensure that the Secretariat has received the written cancellation. 
  • The deadline for cancellation of registrations is Friday 2 May 2025 (date of receipt), midnight, UK.  
  • A handling fee of £50 will be deducted from the refund sum.  
  • In case of cancellation after this date, no refunds will be made. 
  • No refunds will be given for non-attendance.  
  • Substitute names can be made at any time up to and including Friday 20 June 2025.

Visas for UK entry 

It is the sole responsibility of the participant to take care of their visa requirements. Any participant requiring an entry visa must allow sufficient time for the application process. Visas can be applied for up to three months in advance and we strongly recommend you allow the full amount of time. Full details of UK Visa requirements can be found on the UK government web site: https://www.gov.uk/browse/visas-immigration/tourist-short-stay-visas 

The Organisers cannot take responsibility for declined visa applications, or applications not processed in time, for delegates to attend in person. 

Individuals requiring an official letter of invitation to apply for a visa can request one during their registration. To receive a letter of invitation, participants must first register for the Congress and submit payment in full. Only registered delegates will be eligible to receive a letter, not accompanying persons. The letter of invitation does not create any financial or other obligations on the Organisers in any way. All expenses incurred in relation to the Congress are the sole responsibility of the participant. The Organisers do not guarantee the success of any letter of invitation in obtaining a visa. 

Abstract authors must register for Congress 

Submitting an abstract does not automatically register you as a Congress delegate. 

Authors must register by the early bird deadline (Monday 28 April 2025). 

If the named abstract presenter has not registered for the Congress by this date, the abstract will be withdrawn.
