Special Interest Professional Modules (SIPMs) enhance professional skills beyond the core O&G curriculum.
Overview of SIPMs
SIPMs help learners develop professional skills beyond the core curriculum. These modules can be taken at any training stage, but most start in ST3 after completing core curriculum skills. SIPMs are also available as stand-alone modules for all O&G doctors. The 2024 SIPMs are as follows:
The clinical research SIPM is designed for those wishing to build skills they will use as clinical researchers.
The leadership and management SIPM is designed for those wishing to build skills they will use as effective clinical leaders.
The medical education SIPM is designed for those wishing to build skills they will use as medical educationalists.
SIPM registration information can be found here.
