Fetal Care (FC)

This is a foundation SITM aimed at learners with an interest in fetal care. This SITM is one of four that contribute to the subspecialty training (SST) curriculum for Maternal and Fetal Medicine.

Maternal Medicine (MM)

This SITM is aimed at learners with an interest in maternal medicine who want to be able to safely and sensitively care for women with medical problems during their pregnancy. This is a ‘Contingent’ SITM and is paired with the Pregnancy Care SITM. This SITM is one of four that contribute to the subspecialty training (SST) curriculum for Maternal and Fetal Medicine.

Pregnancy Care (PC)

This is a foundation SITM aimed at learners who have an interest in the care of pregnant women with common risk factors which identify them as needing more than community midwifery or basic obstetric consultant care. This SITM is one of four that contribute to the subspecialty training (SST) curriculum for Maternal and Fetal Medicine. 

Prenatal Diagnosis (PD)

This SITM is aimed at learners who have an interest in prenatal diagnosis. This is a ‘Contingent’ SITM and is paired with the Fetal Care SITM. This SITM is one of four that contribute to the subspecialty training (SST) curriculum for Maternal and Fetal Medicine.

Supportive Obstetrics (SO)

This SITM is aimed at learners with an interest in supporting pregnant people with complex social needs and from families of all different structures. They will gain an understanding of the law that is designed to protect vulnerable people.
