Today (15 October) the global O&G community will gather with a shared commitment to improve women’s health through collaboration at the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists World Congress 2024.
With over 2000 attendees from over 80 countries, and a theme of Transforming women’s healthcare through global collaboration the Congress is a milestone event with a clear aim of improving the health of women and girls the world over.
The Congress will feature a cutting-edge scientific programme featuring world class speakers across 30 specialist areas of women’s health, covering topics from maternal medicine, to sustainability and climate change, to women’s rights in a changing world.
The event brings together the full spectrum of women’s health practitioners from consultants and midwives, to academics and students.
This year’s RCOG World Congress will take place in Muscat, Oman, the first to be held in the Middle East - reflecting the growing O&G community in the region and the Global nature of the RCOG membership
RCOG President Dr Ranee Thakar said:

The Congress will be held over three days from October 15 to 17.
